When the Going Gets Tough Pt 2
Family Issues

It is important that, from a very early age, children are offered a holistic education with respect to the family and the values which contribute towards strengthening it: values such as respect, fidelity, commitment, and so many others, values which are gradually losing their relevance in today’s materialistic world. As an outcome of this education, children will be better equipped to build strong relationships with their future spouses, with the aim of creating a stable marriage and a happy family, based upon the values and strengths which were instilled within them from their childhood. Further to this, “when the going gets tough”, they will be more capable of standing firm and of viewing their problems as a challenge, rather than as something that will cause them to collapse. A few suggestions as to what values may be transmitted in the classroom will be given. All this in the light of our Catholic faith.
